Terms & Conditions
Effective date: July 29, 2026.
These terms govern use of the Go Boxive website, quotation process, custom packaging orders, and related services.
1. Scope and Acceptance
These Terms and Conditions apply to goboxive.com and to quotations, proofs, invoices, custom-manufacturing services, and products supplied by Go Boxive. If a signed quotation, invoice, or written agreement contains terms that conflict with this document, the more specific written terms will control for that order.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Updated terms become effective when posted on the website and apply prospectively, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
2. Business Model and Custom Products
Go Boxive supplies made-to-order packaging and printed materials. Specifications may include dimensions, structure, paper or board stock, thickness, printing, coatings, finishing, inserts, quantity, and delivery requirements. Because each project is customized, website descriptions and images are illustrative unless a quotation states otherwise.
3. Quotations and Order Formation
A quotation request is an invitation for Go Boxive to review your requirements; it is not a confirmed order. A binding order is created only after Go Boxive issues a written quotation or invoice, the customer accepts the stated specifications and commercial terms, any required proof is approved, and the required payment has cleared.
Quotations are valid only for the period stated and may be revised if dimensions, artwork, materials, quantities, finishing, shipping, delivery location, or other requirements change.
4. Pricing, Currency, and Payment
Unless stated otherwise, prices are quoted in U.S. dollars. Payment is due according to the quotation or invoice and may include product charges, setup or tooling costs, design charges, rush fees, shipping, taxes, duties, or other agreed costs.
Production does not begin until the required payment has been received and cleared. Payment-provider, bank, foreign-exchange, card, intermediary, or chargeback costs may apply. The customer is responsible for ensuring that Go Boxive receives the full amount shown on the invoice unless the quotation expressly states otherwise.
5. Customer Artwork and Permissions
You retain ownership of artwork, logos, text, photographs, trademarks, and other materials you provide. By submitting those materials, you grant Go Boxive a limited licence to review, resize, adapt, reproduce, and use them solely for quotation, proofing, manufacturing, quality control, and fulfilment of your order.
You represent that you own or have permission to use all submitted content. You are responsible for claims arising from unauthorized or infringing artwork, labels, product statements, barcodes, regulatory text, or other customer-supplied material.
6. Proofs and Customer Approval
Where a digital or physical proof is provided, the customer must verify all specifications before approval, including wording, spelling, grammar, dimensions, dielines, folds, cut lines, artwork placement, colours, barcodes, quantities, stock, coatings, and finishing. Approval authorizes production.
Go Boxive is not responsible for errors that appear in customer-supplied artwork or in a proof approved by the customer. Changes requested after approval may be refused, delayed, or charged separately.
7. Manufacturing and Colour Variations
Printing and converting processes involve reasonable commercial tolerances. Minor differences may occur in colour, shade, texture, board thickness, cut position, fold position, glue placement, registration, dimensions, or quantity. Electronic screens and digital proofs cannot guarantee an exact match to a finished printed product.
Where exact colour, structural fit, or material performance is critical, the customer should request and approve a physical sample, prototype, or agreed colour standard before full production. Any specific tolerance agreed in the quotation takes priority over this general clause.
8. Cancellation
Because custom orders require design, prepress, materials, tooling, and production capacity, cancellation charges apply after quotation or proof approval:
- Within 4 hours after approval: USD 30 plus 10% of the total order value.
- More than 4 hours but within 24 hours after approval: 50% of the total order value.
- After 24 hours: cancellation is not guaranteed and may be refused if materials have been committed or production has begun.
Rush fees, completed design work, tooling, purchased materials, payment-processing charges, and other non-recoverable costs are not refundable.
9. Production Time
Production time begins only after cleared payment, final specifications, and approval of press-ready artwork or proof. Any schedule shown in a quotation is an estimate unless expressly identified as guaranteed in writing. Customer changes, delayed approvals, unavailable materials, technical issues, or circumstances outside our reasonable control may extend the schedule.
10. Shipping and Delivery
Shipping time is separate from production time. Delivery dates are estimates and may be affected by carriers, customs, inspections, weather, labour disruption, security checks, incorrect delivery information, or other events outside Go Boxive's reasonable control.
The customer must provide a complete and accurate delivery address. Additional handling, storage, redirection, return, or reshipment costs caused by incorrect or incomplete information may be charged to the customer. International duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, and destination charges are the customer's responsibility unless expressly included in the quotation.
11. Inspection and Reporting Problems
The customer must inspect the shipment promptly. Any claim concerning a manufacturing defect, incorrect product, shortage, or visible damage must be reported to Go Boxive within 3 business days after delivery. The claim should include the order number, a detailed explanation, photographs or video, the quantity affected, and images of the outer shipping cartons where relevant.
Products and packaging must be retained until the review is complete. Failure to provide timely evidence may limit our ability to investigate or offer a remedy.
12. Returns, Reprints, and Refunds
Custom orders are final and are not eligible for a refund or credit merely because the customer changes their mind, no longer needs the products, or approved the relevant specifications. If Go Boxive confirms that a material printing or manufacturing error was caused by us, the normal remedy is reprinting or reproducing the affected products at no additional product cost.
If a return is required for inspection, the customer must send the requested products in their original condition within 7 business days of our instructions. Unless prohibited by applicable law or agreed otherwise in writing, return shipping is the customer's responsibility. Rush-order fees are non-refundable.
Additional details are set out in the Return and Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
13. Website Content and Intellectual Property
The website and its original text, graphics, layouts, photographs, product illustrations, designs, software, brand elements, and other content are owned by or licensed to Go Boxive. Except for ordinary browsing and legitimate business use, you may not copy, scrape, republish, modify, distribute, sell, or commercially exploit website content without prior written permission.
14. Acceptable Use
You must not use the website to upload unlawful, deceptive, harmful, obscene, abusive, infringing, or malicious material; interfere with website security; introduce malware; attempt unauthorized access; impersonate another person; or use automated systems in a manner that disrupts the website or circumvents reasonable controls.
We may remove submitted content, suspend access, decline an order, or cooperate with lawful authorities where reasonably necessary to protect users, third-party rights, Go Boxive, or the integrity of the service.
15. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Go Boxive is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses, including lost profit, lost revenue, loss of opportunity, loss of goodwill, or business interruption arising from website use, delayed delivery, or an order.
Our aggregate liability relating to an order will not exceed the amount actually paid to Go Boxive for the affected products or services. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
16. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Go Boxive harmless from reasonable losses, claims, costs, and expenses arising from customer-supplied content, infringement of third-party rights, unlawful product claims, misuse of the website, or breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by Go Boxive's own unlawful conduct.
17. Force Majeure
Go Boxive is not responsible for failure or delay caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, fire, flood, epidemic, war, civil disturbance, government action, customs restrictions, labour disruption, transportation failure, power or network outage, supplier interruption, or shortages of materials. We will take reasonable steps to reduce the effect of such events.
18. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the Go Boxive contracting entity identified in the relevant quotation or invoice, without limiting any mandatory rights that apply in the customer's jurisdiction. The parties should first attempt to resolve any dispute through good-faith written communication before starting formal proceedings in a court or forum with lawful jurisdiction.
19. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. These Terms, together with the quotation, approved proof, invoice, Return and Refund Policy, and Privacy Policy, constitute the agreement relating to the order unless the parties sign a separate written agreement.
